Responsibilities
- Companionship and Emotional Support: Engage in friendly conversations, actively listen, and provide emotional support to seniors, offering them a caring presence and a friendly ear.
- Building Relationships: Develop genuine connections with elderly individuals, seeking to understand their interests, preferences, and life stories. Cultivate a sense of trust and friendship, helping to create a nurturing environment.
- Activity Planning: Collaborate with the seniors to identify their hobbies, interests, and desired activities. Organize and participate in various recreational and social activities, such as games, arts and crafts, walks, and outings, tailored to their preferences. (with support from A Villa in planning these)
- Assistance with Daily Tasks: Provide non-medical assistance with tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, and accompanying seniors to appointments or social events, as needed.
- Companionship Documentation: Maintain accurate records of visits and interactions, documenting the activities, conversations, and any concerns or observations you may have.
- Communication and Reporting: Communicate regularly with the A Villa team, providing updates on the well-being of the seniors under your care. Report any significant changes in their health, emotional state, or living conditions promptly.
